How Seldeo handles safety reports

Updated 30 October 2026: This article replaces earlier descriptions of moderation queues, reviewer dashboards, automated hash matching, response targets, and appeals that are not part of Seldeo's current operator workflow.
Send a report
Use the Report option in the contextual menu for the content, message, or account. The in-app sheet lets you select a reason and add optional context. The report is recorded with its relevant reference and an alert is sent to safety@seldeo.com for human staff action.
You can also contact safety@seldeo.com directly. Do not send passwords, passkeys, recovery codes, or suspected illegal material. This mailbox is not an emergency service.
Staff review
Safety email alerts contain references rather than report content or media. Authorized operators use a restricted command-line workflow to inspect a report and record an audited decision. There is no moderator web console. An email alert cannot itself approve, hide, or delete content.
Staff may dismiss a report or take supported actions on reported content. Certain account or third-party actions require separate owner workflows. Reports may be delayed; Seldeo does not promise a response time, a specific review schedule, or an individual outcome notification. No in-app appeals interface is represented.
The restricted operator procedure is maintained separately from this public guide and is not a user-facing moderation console.
Media screening
The release media scanner is intended to block sexual nudity, pornography, and extreme graphic violence. Ordinary non-graphic educational, documentary, medical, or artistic material may be allowed to users meeting the applicable local signup minimum (13+ in recognized non-strict regions; Australia uses a 16+ self-entered DOB screen). DOB screening is not certified age assurance; Seldeo does not provide verified-age access to mature content.
If media is uncertain, the scanner may hold it out of publication in private quarantine for staff review. A review identifier indicates pending review; it does not mean the media was approved or published.
The scanner's detection mechanism does not imply PhotoDNA, another hash-list integration, or automated CSAM hashing. We do not claim those systems are in operation. Applicable legal reporting and preservation duties must be assessed by the responsible safety and legal contacts.
Contact and urgent safety
Use the in-app report sheet or contact safety@seldeo.com. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
