Report content or an account

Send an in-app report

Open the contextual menu for the content or account you want to report and choose Report. For a message, use its contextual menu. Select the closest reason, add any relevant context, then submit the report in the in-app sheet. The available categories depend on what you are reporting.

The app sends a report reference, the selected reason, your optional description, and the relevant content/account reference for staff review. Please do not include passwords, passkeys, recovery codes, or other account credentials in report details.

What happens next

The report is recorded and an alert is sent to Seldeo's safety operators. Human staff review reports and may take action under the Community Guidelines. Email delivery is separate from the in-app submission; the report remains recorded if delivery must be retried.

This is an operator workflow, not a moderator web console. Staff use restricted operator tools to inspect and resolve reports. We do not promise a response time, an individual outcome notification, or an in-app appeal flow. If you have additional context, use the in-app report sheet again where available or email safety@seldeo.com.

Email safety concerns

You can also contact safety@seldeo.com, especially if you cannot use the in-app report sheet. Include a link or identifying details and a brief description. Do not send credentials or attach illegal material. This mailbox is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services if someone is in immediate danger.

Child-safety concerns

Use the in-app report sheet's child-safety reason where available, or email safety@seldeo.com. Staff receive an urgent safety alert. We do not claim that PhotoDNA, another hash-matching service, or a specific automated CSAM detection system is operating. Legal reporting and preservation duties are assessed by the responsible staff and legal contacts.

Do not download, copy, forward, or attach suspected child sexual abuse material. Provide identifying details so authorized staff can locate the report safely. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

Content checks and age

At release, the media-scanning controls are intended to block sexual nudity, pornography, and extreme graphic violence. Ordinary non-graphic educational, documentary, medical, and artistic material may be allowed for users who meet their local signup minimum (13+ in recognized non-strict regions; Australia uses a 16+ self-entered DOB screen). DOB screening is not certified age assurance, and Seldeo does not provide verified-age access to mature content. Posts, stories and comments are published before their background checks. Images and thumbnails use Vision; video screening checks only the middle ten seconds, or the whole video when shorter. Detected unsafe or uncertain content may then be hidden and quarantined for staff review. It can be visible before detection; scanner failures leave content visible with bounded retries and staff alerts. This does not guarantee detection or full-video coverage.
