About the role

You will own significant surface area in the Seldeo mobile app across chat, calls, stories, and the shared design system. You'll work directly with the founder on product decisions, ship weekly to production, and set the quality bar for a growing mobile team.

What you'll do

Design and ship user-facing features across iOS and Android, from secure data flows to polished interfaces.
Own quality, performance, privacy, and accessibility for the experiences you lead.
Mentor other engineers on cross-platform product engineering and reliable mobile releases.
Improve shared foundations that keep chat, calls, stories, notifications, and media experiences consistent.

What we're looking for

Five plus years of production mobile engineering, including experience shipping cross-platform apps to public app stores.
Deep familiarity with authentication, real-time data, media uploads, notifications, and offline-aware product behavior.
Strong judgment around state management, dependency boundaries, testing, and release safety.
Product taste — you can look at a spec and improve it.
Excellent written communication. We are async-first.

Nice to have

Real-time audio/video experience.
Native iOS or Android integration work.
Experience running a small on-call rotation for a consumer app.
