Senior Flutter Engineer
$180K–$240K + equity
About the role
You will own significant surface area in the Seldeo Flutter app across chat, calls, stories, and the shared design system. You'll work directly with the founder on architecture, ship weekly to production, and set the technical bar for a growing mobile team.
What you'll do
- Design and ship user-facing features across iOS and Android, from Firestore data model to Material 3 UI.
- Own quality, performance, and accessibility for the surface areas you lead.
- Mentor other engineers on Flutter, Firebase, and mobile release engineering.
- Contribute to Seldeo's open Flutter packages:
seldeo_story_view,seldeo_notification,seldeo_ads, and others.
What we're looking for
- Five plus years of production mobile engineering, with at least two years of Flutter shipping to app stores.
- Deep familiarity with Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Functions, Storage).
- Comfort with Riverpod (or an equivalent DI/state approach) and the current Flutter widget model.
- Product taste — you can look at a spec and improve it.
- Excellent written communication. We are async-first.
Nice to have
- Real-time audio/video experience (Agora, LiveKit, or WebRTC).
- Native iOS or Android platform-channel work.
- Experience running a small on-call rotation for a consumer app.
