Copyright (DMCA) Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-07-13

Seldeo, Inc. respects the intellectual-property rights of others, and we expect users of our Service to do the same. This policy explains how to notify us of alleged copyright infringement on the Service, our process for responding, and what to do if you believe your content was removed in error. It is intended to comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the "DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

1. Submitting a notice of infringement

If you believe that content on Seldeo infringes your copyright, please send a written notice (an "Infringement Notice") to our Designated Agent at the address in Section 4 below. To be effective under the DMCA, your Infringement Notice must include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the owner, or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, for multiple works at a single online site, a representative list of those works).
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed, including information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate the material (a direct URL or a Seldeo post identifier works best).
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as your address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the Infringement Notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation that content is infringing may subject you to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

2. What we do after receiving a notice

When we receive an Infringement Notice that substantially complies with Section 1, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the material identified in the notice as soon as is reasonably possible.
  • Notify the user who posted the material (where we can identify them) and provide a copy of the Infringement Notice or a summary of it.
  • Take appropriate steps against repeat infringers in accordance with Section 5.

3. Counter-notice

If you believe content of yours was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send us a written counter-notice (a "Counter-Notice"). To be effective under the DMCA, a Counter-Notice must include all of the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access was disabled.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, of the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the Infringement Notice or an agent of such person.

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a Counter-Notice may subject you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

4. Designated Agent for Notification

Send Infringement Notices and Counter-Notices to:

DMCA Designated Agent — Seldeo, Inc.
Email: dmca@seldeo.com
Phone: +1 919-442-8818
Postal address:
Seldeo, Inc.

Durham, NC 27703
United States

Our Designated Agent is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office under Registration Number DMCA-1075525. Public directory updates may take time to propagate.

5. Repeat-infringer policy

It is our policy in appropriate circumstances to terminate the accounts of users we determine, in our reasonable discretion, to be repeat infringers. We may also suspend or terminate the accounts of users for a single egregious act of infringement.

6. Other intellectual-property concerns

If your concern relates to a trademark, right of publicity, or other intellectual-property right rather than copyright, please email support@seldeo.com with the relevant details and we'll route it to the right team.

7. Changes

We may update this DMCA Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the version number and effective date at the top of the page.
