Emergency Disclosure Request under 18 U.S.C. § 2702(b)(8) / (c)(4)

This form supplies the elements Seldeo needs to act on an emergency under the Stored Communications Act voluntary-disclosure provisions. It is not a substitute for a subpoena, court order, or warrant. If the matter is not an ongoing emergency involving danger of death or serious physical injury, use the standard channels in seldeo.com/legal/law-enforcement instead.

6. Legal basis and follow-up

I certify that I represent a governmental entity and that this request is for an emergency involving the danger of death or serious physical injury to a person under 18 U.S.C. § 2702(b)(8) / (c)(4). I will submit an accompanying legal process (subpoena, court order, or warrant) within 5 business days if the account or investigation remains open. I understand that Seldeo evaluates emergency requests in good faith and may deny requests that describe a routine investigation rather than an active emergency.
